Our program is to provide Cleburne/Johnson County residents with print and non-print materials to enhance the quality of life, elevate the level of education and make available facilities for self-education; improvement of the business and industrial climate and furnish cultural opportunities and recreational pursuits. Material provided will meet the needs of patrons of all levels of education and all age groups.
Services Include:
Delivery for home bound patrons.
Weekly Story time for 3 to 5 years.
Summer Reading Club
Public access computers for Internet and word processing (costs vary - please ask for information).
Monthly book reviews and programs
Genealogy and local history collection.
Book club meets first Monday of every month at 6:30.
Loan Periods:

Books and new non-fiction check out for 2 weeks. New fiction books check out for 7 days. Audiocassettes/CD check out for 2 weeks. Video/DVD’s check out for 2 weeks. Most items may be renewed twice - new fiction for 7 days, books for 2 weeks.

Interlibrary Loans

For items not in the collection, interlibrary loans are available. Materials from the collections of other public, academic and special libraries throughout the nation are made available to library card holders through this service. More information. (Interlibrary Policy-pdf)

Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Cleburne Public Library is a voluntary, non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote and foster an informed interest in the Cleburne Public Library and its service throughout the local community, meetings are held quarterly.
