Purchasing Overview
The City of Cleburne operates under a decentralized purchasing system. This means that city departments are responsible for buying their own commodities and services under $25,000. The City Council requires competitive sealed bidding or proposals for all purchases over $25,000. Vendor Database
The City does not maintain a vendor database. The city utilizes Onvia DemandStar to maintain vendor contacts for all commodities and services.
In accordance with Local Government Code Section 1, Subtitle C, Title 5, Chapter 176, all current and potential city vendors must complete a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire. This form must be on file with the City, and available for viewing on the website. Failure to submit this form is a Class C Misdemeanor.
Please download the questionnaire from the link above and mail to: City of Cleburne Purchasing Department PO Box 677 Cleburne, Texas 76031 |
Please register with Onvia DemandStar to receive electronic bid notification or monitor this website for upcoming bids. Competitive sealed bids and proposals are also listed in the Cleburne Times Review as required by State Law.
Bid & Proposal requests may be downloaded from the Onvia DemandStar web site or you may request the packets from the City of Cleburne Purchasing Office located at 10 North Robinson, Cleburne, Texas 76031. Current Bid Opportunities
It is the vendors' responsibility to check for any addendums that might have been issued before the bid closing date and time. The City of Cleburne has contracted with LoneStar Auctioneers for all surplus property disposal. The City utilizes the online auction services and items are placed on the auction site as they are declared surplus. All items are sold "as is--where is", with no warranty or guarantee implied by the City of Cleburne. |
